APPROACHING VANUATU
Upon your approach to Port Vila's International Airport, the first indication will be the change in the color of the ocean below. From the deep blue color of the ocean's depths there is a distinct transition to dark blue, then to light turquoise. Water marked with shaded sections identifies the vast fish rich coral skirt around the mainland of Efate island.

As the plane banks and passes over the black sandy beaches of Mele Bay, we get our first sight of the lush green tropical rain forests that make this region so exciting. With its mountainous terrain and rugged cliffs blanketed in soft green foliage, you just know that your visit to Vanuatu will forever be impressed upon your mind.

VANUATU ARCHIPELAGO
After passing over the jungle's canopy, the horizon opens up to sights of large coconut plantations and local cattle farms. The sign of life and civilization is expressed by the dotting of little village buildings and then larger, more modern style structures. Knowing soon that the sound of the plane touching down will put you into the reality of a long lived dream. You can push up your food tray and tighten your seat belt to prepare for landing in beautiful Port Vila, Vanuatu.
